Time to focus! Many things can be changed in your new business, but not the setting, and there are not many settings like this left.</p>
<p>Big Timber Lodge has a 104 year history of successfully providing fun family fishing vacations in the Nevis – Park Rapids area. The historical log lodge building includes a store, game room, laundry facilities and the main lodge room that features a huge stone fireplace. It is a great place for guests to relax, help themselves to a cup of coffee or cappuccino, check emails, watch a little TV, work a puzzle or play a board game.</p>
<p>The resort is located on the 3rd Crow Wing Lake, an outstanding fishing lake with no slot limits or other restrictions that many other lakes face. At 643 acres, plus boat access to <strong>three other lakes</strong> in the chain as well as the river fishing, this resort offers the serious fisherman almost <strong>2000 acres of water</strong> without the big lake wind worries.</p>
<p>The 12 cabins are unique and vary in size from 1-5 bedrooms. They all overlook the lake and are air-conditioned. Some cabins are historical with lots of character while others are newer and feature dishwashers, gas fireplaces, etc. Three are winterized year round vacation homes. All cabins feature a wall of windows overlooking the shoreline and lake.</p>
<p>The resort property is approximately 10 acres; about half is heavily wooded with 100 year old Red &amp; White Pines and Birch. The other half is meadows which guests use for games like: shuffle board, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and more. <strong>The property has room to expand as well</strong>. 900’ of all sand shoreline gently leading to crystal clear water and unbelievable sunsets. There is a great swim beach with lots of toys, noodles and floats.</p>
<p>The owner’s home is 7 years old and is separate from the lodge. It’s 2180 square feet, 3 bedrooms with walk-in closets, 2 bathrooms, den with built-in desk and cabinets, built-in shelving around the rock fireplace in the living room/dining room. The kitchen is large with an island, lots of cabinets and room for a kitchen table. The front deck overlooks the lake and the back deck views woods and meadows.
